Shipping FAQ

Common questions about our shipping process

What's included in the shipping cost?

Shipping costs include ocean freight, port handling fees, Bill of Lading documentation, and export customs clearance. They do NOT include import duties, taxes, or destination port charges.

Do I need to insure my vehicle?

We strongly recommend purchasing marine insurance. While rare, damage can occur during transit. Insurance typically costs 1-2% of the vehicle's value and provides peace of mind.

How do I track my shipment?

Once your vehicle ships, we'll provide you with a tracking number and link to monitor your shipment in real-time. You'll receive updates at key milestones.

What happens when my vehicle arrives?

You'll be notified when the vessel arrives. You'll need to clear customs at the destination port (pay any import duties/taxes) and arrange for pickup or onward transport.

Can you ship to landlocked countries?

Yes! We can ship to a regional port and arrange inland transport. For example, we regularly ship to Kampala, Uganda via Mombasa, Kenya with truck transport.
